Guess everyone is different. I don't believe diversity at all. My strategy is always find 1-2 good companies and bet BIG on them and I hardly hold more than 5 companies' shares at any time. So far it has worked very well for me even during the market meltdown last March.
I would only exit a good company when
1. some fundamentals have changed
2. the company still runs fine but the growth has stalled
