Personally, If I had a choice to buy seafood Id choose an outlet than a supermarket to this day. Im convinced that they are fresher there due to seeing bigger crowds = greater turnover. Supermarket seafood ain't always presented well unless you are visiting a supermarket in an upmarket area with one of those dedicated corners filled with crates of ice out the front in an attempt to resemble a seafood shop.
