It looks like AstraZeneca's could be heading towards an additional trial with AZD0466 in small cell lung cancer (SCLC) shortly
Did you notice some information was presented in the study of AZD0466 in Patients with Advanced Hematologic or Solid Tumors. Correct me if I am wrong........first time this has been seen publicly. The study was terminated for strategic reasons. The data was so good, AstraZeneca decided to open sites globally and expand indications
So where are we now. Two human trials with AZD0466 and a few pre clinical trials going on behind the scenes (an example being that of AZD0466 in SCLC)
Even though AstraZeneca has not recently updated us in study of AZD0466 monotherapy or in combination in patients with advanced haematological malignancies since January 1st, Starpharma indicated 33 patients have been dosed up to 2400mg with ongoing dosing escalation continuing up to 5400mg. According to my calculations this trial from last recruitment numbers to now has been recruiting at 3 persons per month with the 18 sites opened. Remember approximately a further 15 locations to be opened since last January update. With every new site opening for recruitment we will definitely finalise recruitment very quickly
The Phase I/II Study of AZD0466 as Monotherapy or in Combination with Anticancer Agents in Advanced Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma has not been updated since February 1st. (10 sites open with a further 17 to open).
Look forward to an update on both of these trials with further human trials opening
