100% they will be covering their positions. They are well-in-the-money so will probably look to lock in some profits. They were given a golden opportunity to cover their short positions with the block trade of 96m shares done at a discount to market price. They are now simply squeezing the juice out of the lemon by selling below the $1.26 level and trigger some more panic selling. Then, they will close out these short term positions by COB whilst there is blood on the street.
