    That article can only be good news for DRO. Nothing makes an Australian government pull their finger out quite like a bit of negative press coverage calling them out for inactivity. However, Sheridan should be aware that it takes several years of tender processes and company vetting to introduce a new defence capability, especially something as novel as drone warfare. The current government can hardly be blamed for a lack of counter drone capability on our 30+ year old warships. Thankfully, the ADF have been assessing DRO for several years and the company is primed to deliver the cutting edge tech required to protect ships in the Red Sea from armed commercial drones.

    I’m expecting big things from Droneshield in 2024. All the ducks are finally in a row.
