What happened, one company, Caterpillar, has an earnings downgrade and their reason is because the US is going into recession next year? I am sure we all knew that the housing market in the US was going downill rapidly and that companies like caterpillar would be affected. Not sure how this has surprised the market at all. Well speculated that it was time for a technical correction, add the anniversary of the crash seems caterpillar could not have timed their excuse any worse.
