I have never known EVs to run on anything other than electricity - why do you need to tell me that? They are called Electric Vehicles or maybe they should be called Ego-driven Vehicles?
Are all electricity from powered the sun? Directly, no. Just solar panels. Indirectly, yes a large portion of it. It is called Coal and big black beautiful Oil.
Russia will pump more oil out. Putin is helping Trump get elected again.
