On that point, obviously perception plays a massive role in the share price of a stock.
However, there is a different between share price and value of a company.
I suppose what I was getting as was what events could affect the true/fundamental value of AVB, rather than merely affecting the share price.
I have no doubt that the wider market (such as copper miner ETF COPX) and the copper price COMEX copper HGU5) broadly correlate to the AVB share price. As we can see from this chart comparing all three.
