    I was born in 1961, bought my first house on 1 income in 1986 for 46k by getting a 2,000 tax return and using it as deposit and getting 2000 master card to use for legals and stamp duty, try doing that today, but at the time child care was something grandmothers did, I cant recall and daycare centres back then..
