A2 platinum is a brand, nothing more nothing less. The infant formula powder itself is produced by Synlait, which A2M then rebrands. As a result, in the hypothetical case of A2M going bankrupt, there will literally be no effect to the overall supply of infant-grade milk powders. The world, including China, does not need A2M at all. I can't emphasize that enough. No one needs the brand.
Also, regardless how premium an infant formula brand is, it is something that you don't carry around to show off your wealth or serve as a status symbol. A person could own multiple ferraris, expensive watches or handbags for example, but how many people would buy infant formula just for status symbol? No one. It is a nutritional food product. Nothing more.
Infant formula of any kind is just a food product for babies and only babies.
