Thanks for posting Mega.... I honestly hadn't thought of that idea until you and @wfinn have just mentioned it.

I wonder what sort of impacts that would have on the life cycle of the vehicle battery and if there would be any decrease in efficiency compared to using a vanadium flow battery that would be better suited to the task and probably safer for home use if room allowed.

Definitely something to look into further for me. Unfortunately as I am not a home owner the world of roof top solar and off grid storage aren't really on my radar to the extent they probably should be.
