If so I got some different take away's than yourself.

If Bayo get that car out this year and that's a reasonable sized If, It only has a 600km range quoted. So that's going to be best case scenario. It will also be somewhat of a beta tester as the first of its type to market is rarely the real deal with no issues.

EV (electric Viking) went on to talk about the others who are likely to get this into some form of mass production like CATL and others in the states and those timelines are looking towards being late in the 2020's if not the early 2030's.

So Solid State isn't quite here yet and that video also doesn't reference the cost... which from last mention I think on BMR (battery materials review podcast) is somewhere in the realm of 3 to 4 times that of traditional current commercial battery types.

Not trying to piss on your parade but they have still got a little to go yet before we see any large volume of Solid state. I agree though once they get solid state going with ranges well in excess of 1000km then its probably a decent nail in the coffin for ICE vehicles.

I'm more excited about ESS uptake to drive lithium demand in the near term than I am on Solid state.

Fingers crossed the prices keep rising in the near term on lithium and we can get back to BP33 with some more realistic forecasts and a better level of recovery and economics.
