China invaded Tibet and have actively been erasing Tibetan culture and resistance ever since through establishing military bases and moving in large numbers of ethnic Chinese to dilute the local Tibetans. Then there is the active border dispute with India and the South China Sea disputed Islands, despite the Hague determination that China does not have any claim to those waters.
