Ships do call at Bell Bay. I saw one with my own eyes at the wood chip plant across the water from the smelter area a fe weeks back.
I agree that the Tas (and imported) Greens will be a much more organised and forthright opposition than SMSL.
Maybe if Lynas are fair dinkum about this they should be talking to the Greens before risking any more of our money. I hate the idea of kow-towing to these fanatics but it's better than Lynas setting itself up for a fight which will only give quasi support to SMSl's case.
