I cannot understand all the people saying that Afterpay is for those who can't afford to make the purchases upfront. Used judiciously and borrowing from elementary finance - unless you live in a world where you have negative interest rates, why would you NOT offset some of the cost of your purchase with the return you get from the bank...instead of paying the full amount upfront? Furthermore, Afterpay and a credit card go together like bread and butter...you can earn the rewards points for making purchases through your card, while also reducing the value of what you pay by the return you make on your savings account/investments.
