If your going to announce something big that is going to make a major change to company value I think Friday is the best day for the trading halt. It gives until Tuesday before you need to reopen giving plenty time for board to meet if decision’s or recommendations are needed also if you post the crux of the announcement on Friday after TH then most if not all shareholders have opportunities to be informed. This stops bench sitters and non holders from jumping in for profit and catches shorters out, many companies do it this way on a Friday. I am not suggesting this will happen today with Starpharma but when next big change announcements come along I hope its on Friday, there are big things to come in my opinion and no amount of negative posts will convince me otherwise imo only gltah
