China loves to promote itself as being ‘world first ‘ to its people and the world .
Australian efforts will be likely seen more in the next year plus .
Remember FGR have Graphene prototype in development and testing already , and huge research occuring around the world.
Albeit- All is a long way as yet from commercialisation in the Battery / supercapacitor field .
It does reinforce again - Graphene supercapacitors, are (likely)coming . Hydrogen cell batteries also are still a little way off .
The EV market producers are still scrambling to secure lithium supplies for 2020 and the next years - for Li ion technology or variants of -
Batteries and Energy storage still as yet the focus . End users still not totally ready so are securing direct supplies of lithium as a priority - Chinese car manufacturers, German , Asian are all doing .
And of course Tesla - wanting to secure local lithium and other Battery Minerals supply for their Giga Factory. They’ve still only produced in the hundreds of cars last quarter . But the cars are coming .
Much happening .
German Government , among others are also demonstrating the importance of high grade Graphite by seeking to secure supply .
Graphite , high qualities - being seen more now as an essential mineral element for EV cars but also top technology development.
I agree with spid and the Swinburne University focus article posted yesterday . I had heard friends with pure Physics backgrounds and materials science development focus - refer last year- that the world is evolving into a ‘Glasses Age ‘ .
(from Stone Age / Iron Age / Industrial revolution / Tech revolution etc) Carbon nanotubules , carbon technology on everyone’s lips .
Now - they are saying that it had been termed as the coming ‘Glass Age ‘ ;
But - is going to be more instead a ‘Graphene Revolution ‘ .
Graphene to have as great , even greater impact than did the development and coming of Plastics ?
So the Graphene era is coming ?
Everyone will want to be or need to scramble in . Especially with batteries - forecasts can only be made out to 5 years maybe -
The technology is still only just being developed- not Final .
Yes , Graphene supercapacitors - seem to be more and more the likelihood .
BEST Graphene Supercapacitor eg ‘ maybe like a AA battery replacement ‘ - the FGR protype , is nearly here .
First Graphite foresaw all of this- more than several years ago .
To be positioned where FGR are situated right now .
We really ought to be agog at all that is happening . Exciting times !
