They have to prepare for the NDA filing if the trials are successful, then file the application before the waiting game begins while the FDA review it and then announce their verdict. Even with fast track status l estimate this will take at least 6 months maybe 12 (after filing). Once approval is granted a licencing deal should be announced with or without an up front payment.
On this basis lets allow a minimum of 12 months from an announcement of the trial meeting all endpoints which in itself is not a given.
