Jzed, can you tell me where in the Mining Act or Regulations it says that you don't have to pay rent whilst a tenement is subject to a plaint. I have looked and can find no mention of this. Under Reg 53 it does say that the expenditure commitment does not have to be met on a pro rata basis, perhaps this is what you mean. I have also researched a number of tenements that have been plainted and all the ones I looked at, some of which were subject to a plaint for 3 years the rent was always paid.
