Hey Mark,where did you get the info from regarding bis contracts being rolled over every 12 months.?

In 10 days I hope this energy issue is cleared up.

My gut feel is these industry contracts last much longer than 12 months.

Going by accc gas chart, gas last  spiked approx mid 2017, but my understanding it was not an issue for bis because they had contract in place,although a couple of agm's back bis did mention gas contract ends december 2018.?

My attempt to find info on gas prices showed the spike in 2017 is similar to current gas prices just when bis gas contract due to roll over?

Again going by accc energy report,forecasts gas prices will fall early 2019 but then increase beyond current levels? .But bis contract due to roll over before end 2018

Anyway,my 2 cents,considering energy has the potential to make a material difference to bis eps as confirmed by bis,and many other energy reliant companies,imo bis should list energy as a separate expense and not just include it in cost of goods.

Incitec pivot cancelled building new plants in australia and built them in the US because of our energy policy,bis can't afford to build a new plant in the US,but thats why i felt bis was very innovative in their chinese jv,they could do similar in US and as posted,new US plant would be free to produce armor garde as well unlike chinese jv which is only able to produce wear plate..
