I agree, it isn't likel the drugs would just stop working, is just the degree to how effective it is.
The fact is that the preliminary report wasn't as informative or comprehensive as it could have been and probably raised more questions than it answered., but the fact remains they said
It that 96% as opposed to 100% previously, as well as the increase in withdrawals that was called out as a concern which it's speculated is dosing related.
They need to get the dosing sorted ASAP in order to give any potential partners confidence to move forward with future trials. A partner wouldn't want to pay to figure out dosing, and if they do have to pay for dosing trials, they'd factor it in to any offer made.
If they hit anything under 8.5c I will average down, but as it stands I'm holding (and eating noodles).
