BLACK MARKET - SHORTERS

I had a conversation with a client today which I would like to share.
I couldn't stop thinking about it and put things into perspective.
I never mentioned to them about shorters and ADN.
I asked them why they put all their funds into a stock on the NY Stock Exchange.
They are young investors who said they made good money from bitcoin and have switched most of their funds to another stock which currently about  17% of its stock shorted.
To put that in context currently on the ASX
    ADN 0.81% shorted - retail
BHP 0.13% shorted - why? institutions holding not being lent out?
FLT 10.7% shorted which is the ASX largest.

They said there is stocks out there that are controlled buy the black market.
The stocks have the performance, assets, staff and future income which should value the stock at a price many times higher. That is no fault of the company and its directors and CEO.
It has even got that bad that directors are being put into companies to help make the companies fail.
Institutions also have been recommending stocks and used that stock to short.
That is how big this has got and is corrupt and well known to be the black market.
This behaviour has been enticed by low interest rates, as the cost of borrowing stock to short has been cheap.

There is 3 examples of how to overcome this. If anyone else knows how, please share.

    1. GameStop GME,NYS  through forums organised a short squeeze which the run‐up was reported to have been led by a large increase in trading by retail investors using the Robinhood Financial platform, organized via social media, in particular the WallStreetBets chat forum on Reddit. GME had 140% of their shares were shorted compared to the amount of shares available for trading. How is that possible?
They think it led to the collapse of Credit Suisse which has faced numerous scandals in recent years, including a spying scandal, the collapse of two investment funds in which the bank was heavily involved, and a rotating group of executives. They think that this banks investment funds were a major culprit and we will not know for 50 years when the records are released.
    2. They also buy their stock through brokers and then move their stock to computer share and not linked to a stock broker. Especially, when brokers/institutions lend out their stock.
    3. They believe that with what has happened with Credit Suisse things will be rectified and stocks which have the fundamentals and have been manipulated will be fixed and go the other way in a big way. The black market is being caught out and the rise in interest rates will punish them more.
The GameStop episode goes to the heart of many regulatory issues in finance. It provoked a flurry of reactions from politicians and regulators, including statements of concern, proposals for new laws and regulations, and investigations of potential wrongdoing, all suffused with expressions of hostility directed at “market manipulation” and speculators, characterizing the financial markets as a “rigged game” or “casino.”
Companies such as ADN and others similar should be complaining to government, regulators, ASIC, ASX and media as this is criminal and should not be allowed.

You see ADN sellers in the system (ASX only) 20M shares selling from 3.7c to 4.5c. This is pure manipulation and not real selling. It is funny how my broker said to me when I put a large order at a lower price, they could not accept it as it was market manipulation. WOW!!!!!!!!!! What a JOKE!!!!!!!!!!
Why does BHP only have 0.13% of shares shorted?
Especially for stocks such as ADN who are companies on the verge of becoming a producer.
ASIC and parliament should be taking this seriously and change the laws.
This is seriously killing retail investors and allowing criminal behaviour and manipulation of markets.
I would bear my arse in Bourke St if ADN would not be 10c plus if there was no short selling manipulation.
To allow the All Ord companies being the top 500 to be shorted is crazy. Why are the shorters still allowed to do it when ADN is supposedly not in the All Ords anymore? It totally goes against companies going public to raise capital for operations and to become profitable. Why would anybody buy shares in a company that will have people buying those shares to close their shorts and then short the stock more on the market. These ASX companies should complain and consider going private and get funding or change the laws. Need to think out of the box? PUBLIC, PRIVATE, TAKEOVER, RIGHTS ISSUE TO EXISTING HOLDERS or STRATEGIC PARTNER.

The black market is taking advantage of this and taking advantage of small companies who have fundamentals and ticking boxes who need capital. Government and Investment Markets including the ASX and ASIC should be encouraging investment and NOT providing the black market an opportunity to destroy it.
I think ADN is way undervalued and somehow we need to beat this manipulation.
Interest rates are helping and I am not allowing any of my stock to be lent out.
Move it to issuer sponsored if the institution is lending out your stock.

Overall Bob is on our side with $445K of his own money and is not employed by the black market. ADN falls into the category of this manipulation as they have a large retail base. ADN is a massive takeover target at these levels and with the right investors and partners coming onto the register should blow them out of the water. Very interested in the new DFS and September tour to Asia and Europe to find Partners and Corporate Investors. The low lifes in the black market are ransacking companies and social media such as HotCopper to ensure they do not get caught out like Credit Suisse and the GME example. SCUM!!!!!

DYOR. This is not advice, but sharing thoughts of what I and a client believe is currently going on in the market. Lets hope speaking up and common sense prevail. I believe Bob thinks out of the box and will make his $445K investment at 3.7c  into at least a Disallowed. If he deals with this so called black market in an appropriate way and achieves his vision we should all be happy!!!!!!
