If the RIO and BHP merger goes ahead, .. and it is looking more and more like it will, then politically I cannot see how Swan can allow it AND the exclusivity of rail access.
I just can't see the government allowing a single dominant provider and no rail access .. effectively killing competition. It's not a good look .. and this government is all about looks.
