    $23 mill to possibly
"take a look in the marketplace to see what other opportunities present themselves"
    "business development"
    "partnering"
"acquire assets in the marketplace that we can build upon the Botanix portfolio"
"in the next 6 months it's gonna be all about doing that"

So, what I 'heard' it's permetrex related, this is my version:-
"We have people on board who will commercialise a new or revamped product but not necessarily from our existing pipeline, rather from some other business/es whereby we can utilise the permetrex proprietary patented technology immediately for revenue (because we always said we had external interest in the permetrex tech and will license it), whilst at the same time securing further phase trials for our existing CBD product line, as we need to get to market quickly so we maintain our first comer advantage which is 2-3yrs ahead of anyone else and this is the next 6 months for Botanix" (This is just my opinion only)

They got something special, whether it be permetrex or CBD or a combination, but alas there's confidence to add either or both.

It's good they can get the CBD for mass consumption, but I hope they can do that also for permetrex. Has anything been said about permetrex scale up ability in the past from Bot?? I'm guessing there'll be no problem there though.

Whatever, something lateral is on the horizon for Bot, and I get the vibe they know it's promising too.

Generally, just some chit chat (nothing major) about potential BOT future library....it's ok to say CBD can do this and that but how long to product and at what cost??????

    re gonorrhoea
this article 12mths old is interesting https://thenativeantigencompany.com/gonorrhea-whats-currently-in-the-clinical-pipeline/ and the summary at the end talks about the need for an actual vaccine as current medications have been forced to change 6 times in 20yrs because the disease is so clever and changes easily to human conditions and they write "considering the very real prospect of growing cases of untreatable gonorrhoea, the need for new drugs to combat this sexually transmitted disease is pressing". The other thing I liked is that in US, if someone takes a tablet for the disease at the doctor there are rules that allow them to take a tablet home for their partner, so there's up to a 2x sales opportunity with this disease in US. 2 for 1 offer, awesome stuff !!!!!
Huge discovery needed here else the disease will be so uncontrollable, although BOT having trouble with systemic (?) use of CBD, but when they sort that problem out and can orally administer or inject, what are the possibilities then...vaccine for gonorrhoea, vaccine for meningitis...that sounds like partnering to me...

    re Atopic Dermatitis
(pfizer phase 3) https://www.pfizer.com/news/press-release/press-release-detail/pfizer-announces-positive-results-fifth-phase-3-trial "In October 2020, Pfizer announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) granted Priority Review designation to the company’s New Drug Application (NDA) for abrocitinib 100mg and 200mg for the treatment of moderate to severe AD in patients 12 and older, with a decision expected in April 2021."
The safety bit read "Safety results showed that during the induction period 66.5% of patients experienced an adverse event and 1.6% experienced a serious adverse event. Following randomization, a higher percentage of patients receiving either the 200mg or 100mg dose of abrocitinib experienced adverse events compared to placebo (63.2%, 54%, and 45.3%, respectively). The percentage of patients who experienced serious adverse events were 4.9%, 1.5%, and 0.7%, respectively. More patients treated with abrocitinib discontinued from the study due to adverse events (6%, 1.9%, and 1.5%, respectively).
Bot has a great safety record as opposed to the Pfizer oral dose. Maybe Pfizer helps with trials and $$$ for a topical cream cause they know Vince so well...??

Anyway, just playful thoughties for y'all.....

    cheerio
