BC is back with the rig now (albiet 250m away). It moved off 900m South on a few occasions in the last 2 days since returning from Dakar. It's movements around the rig will b interesting to monitor, depending on the direction of the flareline & wind direction as it stands-by on watch.

Gas oil ratio at SNE-1 was ~750 scf/bbl (CNE's CMD), so IMO they should get a decent Flare photo as any associated solution gas 'expands' once the well starts to cleanup its contents, ie both gas flowing out to surface alongwith the light 32 API Oil (SNE oil density is 0.86 gm/cc, water is 1, gas is lighter then both).

Eg: CNRL's 22 API Baobab discovery well flowed combined 6700 bopd from 2 separate DST's, 290-320 scf/bbl GOR (reserves in Aug 2005 was 2P-192 mmbbls).

During initial part of a field's development most of this gas is re-injected back to maintain reservoir pressure & sustain flow rates, alongwith a optimum number of Water injector wells.

As a comparison Jubilee has a GOR of 1200-1300 scf/bbl from the 2 main out of the 6 Mahagony reservoir sand units that were tested separately producing 36 & 38 API. Reserves r 2P-470, 2C-605 mmbbls. The JV reinjected all the gas for the first 4 yrs. They still do some reinjection & started piping some gas back onshore since Nov'14 onwards. Daily flowrate is 102k bopd. Do check Tullow's CMD from '08, '10 on Phase-1 dev, while we wait.
