It's not the individual vehicles like Landcruisers or Hillux that don't "meet the standard". Its that the importer has sold enough EV's cheap to the latte lappers to bring the average vehicle sold consumption down.
There will be a whole lot of EVs at inner suburb coffee shops subsidised by country folk working in Landcruisers and Hilluxes.
