    Good point,, young buyers are far better off buying a house within a price they can realistically afford repayments on while over the course of a few years build equity and try to add value.. these people dont need to be builders to add value. (Repaint, get stuck into the gardens, everyone has tradesmen friends who can help fit new kitchen etc) rome wasnt built in a day.

    Property is not a get rich quick scheme, the notion of buying a 700k unit today and im rich tommorow is ludicrous.
    Hard work never killed anyone and there is certainly no shame in starting in a house you can afford opposed to buying a unit just to follow the crowd, more often than not the crowd is wrong humans are sheep and generally its people who dont follow the crowd do best.

    Units are not a sensible investment i would consider touching at the moment.!!
