Just happened to notice the profit guidance issued today. This was a family owned company that boomed when it first listed on the stock exchange. Then it almost fell in a heap with the GST and efforts to restructure to curb costs: that was when I sold out of the stock. It makes a quality product that sells well in good times and falls victim to cheaper copies in bad times which is why it has struggled to survive in the past few years. However it does seem to have turned itself around and may be worth watching. I doubt brokers will show much, if any interest in the stock because it is so tightly owned.
