BSL-some comparisons

Soz about the new thread but just wanted to point out a few new things. Been a long term shareholder for over 15yrs but the price action confuses me, even though I'm happy for it to go lower to maximise the buyback.
1) HRC futures (Market Watch) are up 25-40% over the last two week, contracts expiring up to December 2022
2) US Steel for comparison is up 19% over the last 5 days and 42% over the month. BSL up to 1pm today was 1.37% up and 9.3% for the month.
3) Assuming an average buyback of $20, shares on issue will be down about 450 million. PER will be about 4. If profit halves next year it will be 8.
4) Introduced into SP Top 50, you'd be thinking a bit of index buying.
5) You never want to profit from war or natural disasters but it would look like there would be some pent up demand. Especially with Russian companies been banned.

I know the market looks forward but this looks very cheap and not sure who keeps selling but it continues to get smashed, especially at market close, I've notice when bigger sellers bring the price down several cents. It's not a massively shorted sold stock and isn't held massively by institutions (wondering if it's been targeted by Green groups to be a company not to invest in??) Input costs like fuels , coal, iron ore have increased but so have future contracts.

I hope franking credits will help but I don't think it's an overlying factor as to the suppressed share price.
