    i have not a lot of faith in either argument to some degree

    do we go with the majority of the science community and start to curb things now or wait to see if the science is ultimately proven otherwise

    we can't employ policies retrospectively to change conditions

    better to perhaps be preventative rather than trying to cure - at what level of information should action be taken?

    the other is the obvious leaning to the future green energy, and agree with this govt that we could be an earlybird leader in this regard, hopefully putting this country at the forefront of such technologies - the others will have to eventually go this way

    and yes, this govt hasn't been able to foresee the speed of this market and most new things have their glitches

    but i'd much rather the labor version, which isn't even a tax, essentially, over the much more expensive direct action plan that the energy companies don't even like 'cos it isn't market based
