The QIC is still made up of people like you and me. Investment funds play to a different tune, they manage portfolio's not individual stocks. I'd say a management decision was made that IMU wasn't performing in their investment timeframe so they sold out to place the money where they believed a better performance would result. In this case they could have made a poor decision, and only time will tell.
Having said that... it doesn't exactly promote a warm fuzzy feeling when a fund sells out.
