Would you really have bought '3424 shares to keep the sp up' ???!
A number of thoughts arise from that:
- if you're going to do that, why wouldn't you make it a nice round & larger parcel to bring it up to 14c vs 13.5c & also end up with a more managable total (I keep to $1K or $500 multiples whereever possible)
- whilst it might be nice to see your share has gone up / not gone downwards on a particular day, surely you'd be buying it to make a good profit (whether short-term or long-term) ... do you really see yourself as a market manipulator rather than trader/investor?
Also, when you say 'an announcement that may never come', you don't really believe that do you? It'll come, it's just a matter of how much longer we need to wait. I can't see it possibly taking longer than a week (or at worst two) from here ... possibly even by the end of this one?!
