Day 2 This is from my mate KH.... Well my prediction for today's volume was a bit off. Over 158,000,000 shares traded today (my starting day guess was between 125 to 150). There was profit taking all day with the sp finishing at 2.0 cents on the add and 2.1 on chi-x. It ticked down to 2.0 in the last 5 minutes of trading. Btw: Again the chi-x volume was over 2/3 of the add. It was interesting watching the price tick up and each time seeing the volume rapidly slowing to a crawl or stopping. For the first time I'm beginning to see how software could be used to make automated buy/sell decisions. The great news is that we closed at 2 cents. How well we do going forward will be reflected in the trading volume. What we need is for the volume to stay in the 100,000,000 range to keep BP sellers and profit takers at bay. The volume will naturally drift lower over the next few days but maybe it can keep at these elevated levels until Friday. We should at least cleared out the BP shares by then. Our 2 day volume average is around 200,000,000 shares/day! Hopefully the market will trade 500,000,000 shares by Friday close of market. With a daily share price swing between 2.0 to 2.5 we can also expect to attract an even larger pack of day traders. A careful punter can easily make 15-20% profit in 2-3 days, buying on the mid day lows and selling on the next day's opening highs. Along with BP they will distort the sp, driving the trading pattern we saw today. Interesting days ahead.
