Good question Tiger Hopper is the perennial biotech and more specifically I/O entrepreneur. He has success and pedigree with Viralytics and more recently with PTX and IMU. Chimeric is the latest - IPO early next year. He does have to be careful/ mindful of ASX rules and conflict of interest which has recently been tested (see City of Hope). Chimeric will major in latest CAR-T which currently has its limitations (safety and control) PTX and Omnicar may just have the platform to assist. So it's possible PTX could be on the acquisition radar of Chimeric down the track (12-24 months?) Hopper would have distanced himself by then and then conflict of interest would not an issue. Just my lateral thinking - likely to be wrong of course. Time will tell. Personal disclosure - I'm long and heavy in all above (Chimeric pending).
