Carbon Capture, page-346

Hey guys,

Had an interesting discussion with a colleague today. He's currently working on a carbon capture job for the CSIRO. looks like they're trying to develop a piece of plant which utilises a "very secret" powder. Apparently all the IP is in the powder product. No more information than that.

Uses a fan to blow air over a heated powder to absorb carbon. I've asked if he can eek out any more information regarding its composition, he's in a meeting with them right now so I guess we'll see how we go.

Early days for the study but he comment's that it does seem difficult to claim viability of the equipment since it requires more energy than the carbon it's capturing at this stage.

I'm just dying to know if it's employing Halloysite!
