There is plenty of natural graphite in the world. What the sector doesn’t need is the oxygen sucked out it when ‘instos’ work out that some graphite projects are just not going to deliver the kind of margins that they’d hoped for. If and when that happens, the whole sector may get blamed, and it brings everyone down.
Only the most robust projects will be successful in the long term. Renascor’s in-principal Support from the Clean Energy Finance Corporation (CEFC) should tell you everything you need to know. The CEFC is about supporting the low carbon energy future that is upon us. Yet it doesn’t have a Battery Anode Material producer on its books and it needs one to round off its own corporate message.
Fortunate for Renascor holders, is that it has done its due diligence and has chosen it above all other Australian graphite wannabes. There is no one else suitable.
