While Vietnam has an emerging middle class there is still a large proportion of the country that cannot afford stuff like chia seeds. Also unlike some of those commenting it is certainly not eaten for breakfast lunch and dinner over there. There is an increase in the uptake of health products but nothing like that in western countries.

EPCO deal is good, I will say this though locals are quite sceptical of buying products domestically even if they are made in Australia. Lotte Mart is around the corner from my in laws and sell stuff like ensure milk powder yet my wife still sends stuff from Australia to her mum. Unfortunately there is a huge black market for faking products over there.

Lotte Mart has quite a big expat customer base, they stock a lot of high end products. For instance I can get Coopers Red there or Belgian Trappist beers.
