The easiest way to lose money on the ASX is to watch daily SP flucs an act upon them, until you have PLENTY of capital or can actually read and interpret charts the best thing to do as a retail investor is to just set and forget! If you're concerned about it just set a stop loss and you won't be burned, it really blows my mind reading comments that people are selling but still believe in the Co. Not only are you selling at a loss "just to buy back in again on news" but also having to pay the brokerage fee's, you're also resetting the CGT discount from holding more than a year.
