The indicative price on CommSec prior to opening trade was showing the share price down .12 cents. Thankfully it gained strength from the open.
My question is: If yesterday was ex div day and today is record date, then why would you sell the stock today and miss out on the dividend. That doesn't make sense to me, so could someone answer my query please.
