Well if you ever wanted to downramp STO using macreoeconomic argument entangled with comparisons of a chinese economy so relevant perhaps we need to compare GLNG and APLNG to the mines in Bendigo and Broken Hill at the turn of Federation in macroeconomic comparisons.

STO is better than the ASX market beta and false xenophobic overreactions to everything.

At the turn of Federation, a few colonialists thought like those of the current economic arguments against the PRC, that the Chinese could not do anything of economic value, that their stimulus package is not as good as another stimulkus package. As a result of such appalling thinking, then came the Immigration Restriction Act, a.k.a White Australia Policy and the world got Nazism in old Europe and Apartheid in Rhodesia and South Africa.

Wonder where the ABC stand on all of this, they r no doubt downramping for their Trotskyites and other assorted alternative types.

People should DYOR on STO, its SP, projects and take a considered view of the market, the POO, the contango, the gas importation market etc and make up their own mind IMHO otherwise they will get squashed like all those sheep back in Australia before Federation, clearing land, treating animals no doubt just as Indonesia currently is alleged to do. My point of comparison: how go is it to abuse Chinese stimulus when the US/ Europe stimulus is probably just as bad if no worse and the market had no problem with those stimuli packagees.
