Well, you've now mentioned in five separate posts on this thread that USA has "less than 4% of the world population yet holding 20% of the planets covid cases". This is true, but reflective not of the origins of the virus, but of the different management strategies. Americans basically run riot with the virus and have strong regional variations in containment measures. Nowadays, there are few, if any, restrictions. China on the other hand is aiming for eradication and seals people into their apartment blocks at the first hint of a regional Covid case. Undoubtedly, this is much more effective in containing the virus, but it wouldn't work in countries like America where people are used to freedom of movement and freedom of speech/thought.
