    "I understand your point. But, one question, how come "toxic" policies/means can lead China to the second largest economy in the world?"

    Only to say that Economically beneficial =/= morally correct see Slavery or dumping rubbish in the ocean.

    This is a very good point, my opinions are influenced by the information made available to me, all of which I treat critically. However, I am aware of how the information presented to me may be biased or influenced and it is a weakness in my position - as it is yours.

    "When it comes to political means, its always about how to align conflict of interests, majority vs minority, long term vs short term, ideal vs reality. So do you really understand all those factors before you call one policy "toxic""

    Some Policies are so toxic at a basic level that the consideration of outside factors doesn't effect the assessment of the fundamental flaw in the policy.
