Raids on journalists and news organizations, secret trials, the persecution of Assange all done under "western democracies".
As for the "attack dog" comment. The fact is the US does call the shots or else. I remember George Bush saying at the outbreak of the Gulf War "your either with us or against us".
Well I see Marise Payne and Linda Reynalds are in Washington to receive their orders . Let's see if Australia is ordered to step up it's provocations in the South China Sea.
