Muppet655 there are capital gains tax implications with the oppies as when you convert these you start the 12 months again whereas with the heads its from the date of purchase.
If you are happy to hold for at least another 12 months to 2 years then it seems a good buying opportunity especially if you believe MHM will make strong gains as you can purchase 20%ish more now and convert later on if you have limited free capital ATM.
