@bennyhop. What do you call it when theoretical Science becomes politicised.
There is no doubt the oceans are warming. Warmer water expands.
The pro alarmists are relying 100% on the "absolute" truth by a majority of theoretical guys.

So why the need to politicize historical weather readings. Before 50 years ago no-one was able to read thermometers. So the good guys went over the records and reduced all the hot day readings. LOL. It's true.
However, amazingly the same type of pleb was perfectly able to read tide heights. LOL.
See the story. They could accurately read tides but those high temps must must have been wrong.
This smells of politicization.

As well consider the holier than thou Greens who are experts on everything.
Rainforest the size of Aus has been felled in recent years. Worse it has been burnt. Worse still it shows up on CO2 graphs as a sharp upward spike. Heck that's a lot of trees that can no longer fix CO2.
Fast forward to the brilliant political "Green" movement. Not a word, they don't want to "complicate" the message to ignorant voters as it will devalue their scare message.
Their piece de resistance though is that the Earth has a static climate that can only be changed by mankind burning fossil fuels. I hear them claim that every flood, every drought, every bad thing is caused by anthropomorphic interference.

I finish with a gem from the 1920s. The best scientists in the world got together in the USA to work out where polio came from. Their theory was ice-cream because polio turned up in the hot weather.
