    Let’s imagine for a fleeting moment that you’re not far off the mark Cowcockie. (Just for a mo’, okay?)



    so your considered analysis is that 0.5 degree (Celsius ?)  warming in the 20 years to June 2018 is something we can live with?



    seems rather rapid to me.



    extrapolating, does that mean that a 2.5 degree rise over  100 years would be okay?



    no chance of homo sapiens adapting to that swift and large change.



    what about for the Arctic.  A 2 degree rise over 20 years and a 10 degree rise over 100 years?



    we on Earth had a fine environment  200 years ago but we’ve wrecked it. 



    I reckon it’s worth trying to moderate the rapidity of further decline.
