Cobalt most likely will figure in batteries for a long time but there is no likely shortage in my view unless the DRC implodes which I thought was a near certainty -but that has not occurred. If that situation changes all bets are off - In terms of nickel Mt Thirsty is insignificant -it would never be developed for nickel as the primary commodity -too many easier ways to get into the nickel business. I have been around this business since the nickel boom - sulphide nickel is the only real opportunity for a junior -just too many major projects waiting to press the button on nickel to think that Barra will ever be a starter in that department. Believe me -you wont hear much from Barra about cobalt and nickel in the future.
