I would certainly agree with your last point. The last board were lifestyle pumpers-and-dumpers with no record of production who made their money, turned tail and ran. To its credit, the current board at least has some runs on the board elsewhere. As I've said previously, I think Marsh is now the big question mark - he was an appointment of the old board and aligned with them. He may or may not make the transition from chief spruiker to successful mining company MD, but I've got enough confidence that this board will know if he needs to go.
I finally read through the remuneration report and like you, I don't think it's as excessive as has been claimed here.
