Pilatus - fully agree with you. PT1 is a MUCH better interface with which to trade seriously. PT2 is all bells, whistles, and icons.
Problem with changing broker is the hassles of changing linked accounts, CHESS sponsors, HIN numbers, etc etc - (wipes brow) - all those FORMS to fill in yet again!
I actually got as far as talking to eTrade last time PT1 went down (about 2 weeks ago) and got their trial platforms - but neither of them is as good as PT1 - when PT1 is working that is...!
(Sigh) - ah well, at least today it stops me watching the plummeting prices minute by minute.
