Alcohol is actually a logical choice from a global health body that has to provide santising guidelines to hundreds of countries, all with differing manufacturing setup, economies, production capability, chemical supply chains, labs, access to water etc. Alcohol is cheap, easily produced (even in extremely poor communities) and the WHO sanitiser recipes shared are simple (>70-80% alcohol)...and it works everytime for Covid19.

Yes, one has to repeat constantly but at least provides the same protection opportunity in a poor African village as a Hollywood mansion.

More 'complex' products like Zoono, essential oils, chemical based etc...individual countries can sort approvals and scale up,. as they are doing.

I am not downramping Zoono - since I am a SH and believe the product works - just sharing my perspective to your post.
